The electronic heart of your games
The MAG 2.1 Case is the all-in-one solution for organisers who want to run varied, well-controlled scenarios. It features a 110 dB alarm, a motion sensor, a DC 12V 1800mAh battery rechargeable on 220V (charger included) and offers three distinct game modes.
Conquest mode
Each team starts with the same point counter (for example 500 points). The team that activates the case sees its own counter count down. If the opponents take the case back, they stop the enemy countdown and start running down their own score. The first team to bring its counter to zero wins the objective: the LEDs switch to a steady colour (no more blinking) and the case locks — the opponents can no longer retake the point.
The organiser sets:
- 🏳️ Number of teams — 2 teams (blue/red) or 3 teams (blue/red/green)
- ⏱ Starting point counter for each team
- ⚡ Capture time — how long the button must be held to take the point from the opposing team
Bomb mode
Players must crack a code before the countdown ends. The organiser has a wide range of settings:
- ⏱ Countdown duration
- 📳 Motion sensor (optional) — every jolt takes one minute off the timer
- 🚀 Motion trigger — the countdown only starts when the case is opened or moved (ideal for a "3 minutes left" scenario: however long players take to find the case, the clock only starts when they open it)
- 🔢 Number of code digits — from 1 to 5 digits (up to 100,000 possible combinations)
- 🎲 Random code — even the organiser doesn't know the code
- 🔄 Changing code — the code can change during the game to spice up the scenario
- ▶️ Start on movement — the countdown is only triggered the first time the case is moved
- ❌ Wrong code penalty — −1 min, −5 min, −10 min, −15 min…
- 🎯 Number of attempts — unlimited or limited (1, 2, 3, 10…)
The gameplay works like Mastermind: a digit in the right place is shown on the screen, a wrong digit shows a cross. Players progress by deduction from the clues they gather.
VIP mode
The goal is to carry the case from point A to point B while losing as few points as possible. The score drops with every sudden movement — the more the case is shaken, the more points evaporate. If the score reaches zero, the mission fails. Once at point B, the team locks in its score by pressing the red button first, then the white button. The organiser can then run a return match to compare both teams' performance.
Available options
🔌 Hacking Device option
The case can be fitted with a Comm Interface board, located at the bottom left of the panel, with an RJ45 port for connecting the Hacking Device. Once connected, it gives a different bonus depending on the active game mode:
- 🏳️ Conquest mode — doubles the countdown speed of your own counter, so you can empty your score faster and win
- 💣 Bomb mode — makes defusing easier and gives more time to think
- 🎯 VIP mode — doubles the remaining score at the moment of connection (e.g. 122 points → 244 points)
⚠️ The Hacking Device is not included — it must be ordered separately.
📱 Bluetooth option
The Bluetooth option lets the organiser control the case remotely from an Android smartphone:
- Adjust all game settings remotely
- Stop a game in progress or start a new one
- Trigger the countdown remotely
- Get live game information (current countdown, current code…)
⚠️ This option comes with an Android app only. There is currently no iOS app.
